I’m happy to announce that I’ve been awarded a Silas Palmer Fellowship at the Hoover Institution for 2015. The fellowship is for undergraduate and graduate students, and will assist me with conducting research in the Hoover Institution Library and Archives on my PhD dissertation topic, “Herbert Hoover and the American Relief Administration in Poland, 1919-1923”.
The Hoover Institution has been a major part of my life for a long time. It’s where my father has worked for over 30 years, and where I started a part-time job in 2001, my freshman year at San Jose State. My professional career started at Hoover in 2009, when I became the Assistant Archivist for Exhibits and Outreach, a position I held until last year. The time I spent at Hoover was a tremendous education for me and a direct inspiration for my current, academic pursuit.
I’m proud to be affiliated with Hoover again and I look forward to visiting over the summer and in the fall to spend time in the Library and Archives, and to see old friends and colleagues.
My biography on the Hoover website has also been updated.
