I came across your site as I was doing a little bit of research on the Murnau POW camp.
This mail may come to you as a pleasant surprise.I am the son of Major Severyn Kulesza (late – died in 1984 in LA) who was like your relatives captured in Poland and spent a short time in Murnau POW camp.He was released at the end of the war and then joined the British Army with the Settlement Corp.
He was in the Polish Olympic riding Team in 1936.I have a number of old photos which might be of interest to you.
Incidentally I am also fascinated by history , expecially military.
Antony–I rode with Maj, Kulesza @ Silver Spur Stable in Glendale, CA about 1973-1976. He was a close friend of Wladislaw Tomasziewski, who owned that barn, which my self & wife inherited. The “Maj” often ate dinner with us accompanied by his daughter(your sister) Mishka—–
