On the first night of the Republican National Convention, I happened to be near the main road leading to Quicken Loans Arena. Here’s a view of Donald Trump’s motorcade driving by to the arena on July 18 for the first night of the convention.
Security is heavy all over the downtown area and at transit stations and roads leading into the city. Special black fencing surrounds the arena and dedicated roads with mobile barricades to allow VIPs, security and logistics staff into the convention zone.
